fake it 'till you become it

There was a ted talk that was about changing your mind by changing your body. Let me elaborate, people say that your mind can change your body like if you just got a confidence boost you will hold your head high, or if you get really embarrassed you might curl up. This ted talk was about that maybe if you change your stance it will affect your mind, and it actually works if you take a certain stance you'll have more confidence and energy. You might think that you are faking who you are but it's fake it till you become it pretend to have confidence till you actually have confidence and just take the stance for like two minutes if your nervous or really stressed.
Once you have confidence in yourself you will feel like a totally different person, you will be more enthusiastic and will become more of a risk taker. This was discovered by studying the body language of people with confidence and those with out. those who lack confidence were more reserved and concealed while people with confidence were open and enthusiastic so if your mind controls your body why can't it work the other way around?

Favorite quote

My favorite quote is, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." who was from Napolean Hill who is mostly known for his book "Think and Grow Rich". The reason this is my favorite quote is because it says that anything is achievable if you believe in it. This quote could be taken that something can only be achieved if you believe you can in the first place. Since anything that I can conceive and believe I can achieve, this makes me believe that any goal or dream I have is attainable and not something that is improbable and unlikely to happen, this quote sort of makes me believe that anything is, in fact, possible and allows this quote to be possible and so that is why I find this quote to be my favorite.

New Years intentions

I want to work out more for my New Years intention, I've already started a little bit this year but I want to make it a habit because I enjoy the feeling after a work out. It feels like you really worked hard to accomplish something and I want to enjoy that feeling every day. Also I don't want to be called fat, or chubby. I know that people say that you should be happy with how you look because that is you, and I get where they're coming from but I'm not going to be happy with the way I look if I know I can look better. I know it sounds like a very generic intention for the new year but I'm not gonna hit the gym, I consider it a step in the right direction

A special gift

A gift that I have gotten that I think is special is a vest that was given to me by my aunt on Christmas Day. There isn't anything special about the vest in itself and it's even a little worn now but I think it's special because someone gave it to me so that already makes it special and this vest was the first vest I have gotten so that made it somewhat different but cooler than my usual wardrobe so I wear it very often and since I've worn it for a while I've grown attached to it, so that's why it's special

blogging tips that I could work on

Something that I could work on is just going with what i first think of, I feel like I hold back a lot because I feel like I have to know exactly what I am going to write and how Im going to say it but I have to just let go and write what's in my mind to let my ideas out, then I can go back and revise in order to have good word choice and not go on tangents not related to the topic. Another tip that I could works with is read other blogger's work in furtherance to better my own writing. I don't read other people's blog posts because, well I have no interest in it but I have to do so in order to further my writing skills.

What I'm grateful for

When I think about my life I find that I am very lucky to have what I have. I am very grateful for what I have because I don't think that I would be the same if I didn't have what I have. I am grateful that I have my parents, I feel lucky and grateful that I grew up in a home that wanted me to shine. Grateful that my parents care so much about me and want me to be the best that I can be. I am grateful for the roof over my head and hat I have a place to sleep. I am grateful that my parents support me as much as they do because it gives me so much confidence. I am grateful that I have found a group of people that have found faith in me. I am grateful that I have very good opportunities in my life. Thank You for the little things that we don't notice but that are important to us otherwise. Also, I want to say thank you to everyone who believes in me.

If I were to go on a trip

If I had the chance to travel anywhere in the world I wouldn't know where I would want to go because I like where I am but I guess a little change of scenery couldn't hurt. If I were to go somewhere else I would probably go to Japan to learn more about its culture and to see the mountains. In Japan, there are certain things that you should and shouldn't do, so if I were to travel over there I would have to do a bit of research so I don't offend anyone there. It is said that the people that live there are usually very hospitable and welcoming. I don't know what draws me to go there, it could be the culture, the people, its nature, or could it be something else?
